You would think that because I lifted it I would be able to buy bigger tires but once I put the lift on the tires rubbed the spindles and I needed a 1/4" spacer up front. And the specs on the current tires are 285/75/r16, not that big or wide by any means.
buy wheels with different backspacing. I'd look at a 16x10 wheel w/ 4.5" backspacing on a 35x12.5R16 tire

I was going to buy some 16x10 with 4.5" bs but I've decided to run 16x8 with 4" bs instead. Wandell said the 16x10 will stick way too far out because the track width of the 2wd with lift is a lot wider than stock or a 4wd.

The lift spindles push the front wheels out.

It'll fit nice stock. I highly doubt they would fit with the fabtech spindles though.

And what I was saying about the 4x4 is apparently the lift spindles don't push the wheels out like the 2wd so they can get away with running 16x10 without it sticking way too far out. Idk, if someone with more experience wants to clarify that would be great.

The guy at off road customs told me that a 16x10 with 4.5"BS would fit perfectly with those fabtech spindles on there. He told me stock rims wont work at all without spacers which is what you have said already

Oh I see, I keep getting conflicted answers. I need to find out what the backspacing is for stock rims...

Ideally I'd rather have 16x10s

hey Dnasty, I see in your sig you have want: 1.5" daystar. I have a 2" aluminum spacer, so you dont need to get that plastic from daystar. they advertised it to be 2" but its about 1.5" tall. so it could be 1.5" to 2". and its brand new, no scratches or even been in the outside world. let me know.

b2therad: Oh man I love the black rockstars! I would get those but they are mucho dinero!

01f1502wd: Yeah I saw that in a For Sale section, I want it but I'm strapped for cash right now and I'm trying to save for rims and tires. If you still have it in a couple weeks after I order the necessities I'd gladly take it off your hands.

haha no kidding. I wanted the chrome ones soo bad until I saw the price tag on one being 360. I gave that up really quick. I found a place where I can get the black rockstars in a 20" for 250 a wheel. And 35" toyos for 265 a tire. Im pretty sure thats what im goin to end up getting.

Dang that's nice. You need to post up some pics of what your truck looks like now, just so I can see how drastic of a change this will be.
