My truck, 2001 supercrew, 4x4, 5.4, 17" tires, stock suspension, is making an amazingly loud snappping/popping sound when I turn the wheel all the way right. Just before I hit the steering stop is makes the noise. It doesn't happen to often but when it does it really sounds like something is breaking in half.
Has anyone had something like this happen to them before and what was the problem?

Hi,
i have a 2001 f150 xtracab 2x4 with Fabtech 3.5" spindle lift with 2" blocks in rear and have the same problem. So far iv'e taken it to a dealer still under warranty, they ended up replacing the power steering pump, saying the drive shaft was ready to break after i noticed some fluid leak from a hose.The dealer told me the shock bolts needed to be retorqued, but i'm still having the same problem.I have contacted Fabtech with this issue, i'm just hoping its not the backspcing on the wheels i'm running.
