Cool

Oh yeah, we have delt with this before. bigEd went and had a 3" body lift installed on his truck, and had a Manik grill guard. Well, the 4x4 shop that did the lift, was told to make brackets for the guard, but unstead they WELDED it back on here. Bunch of idiots. I can tell you, you dont wanna weld it on there, that is a big mistake. What he did, after bein pi$$ed off was get a Ranch Hand front End replacment. But on to your question. You can go to a local 4x4 shop, or machine shop and they can make you some relocation brackets. Or with the know how, you can do it yourself I guess. Good luck

Wink

I was lucky enough with mine that I turned the brackets upside down, drilled new location holes in my frame (which was a pain in the butt) and mounted it from there. It looks good and I saved some money on paying someone to fabricate some brackets for me.

Question 3" Body lift and Grill Guard question.

Hi all, I want to put a 3" body lift on my 97' F150. However I have a Brush Grill guard that covers the entire front of the vehicle. When I installed it it was bolted on to the tow hooks. Now with the new body lift I obviously will have to make some kind of bracket so that the grill guard also increases with the 3" body lift. Anyone ever had to deal with this? Thanks. Jer
