I talked to AIM two days ago and they said they were doing a test on a F-150 and the spindles should be ready in three weeks .They also told me I could place my order in advance for 249 per pair.I also saw a ad with the same price.I bought the control arms to solve the alignment problem I had with the Fabtech leveling kit.

I decided that for a temporary thing I am going to get coil spacers. I have to decide between 2 and 1 inch sized though.

Hey bluefish, which Fabtech kit is that $655 price for? The truckperf. website lists the 3.5" arm, spring, and shock kit for over $800.

I cant decide what I will get first. THe spacers, alarm, bed cover, or CD player. I am leaning to CD right now. 225 plus installation.

y2kboti,
Who installed that Fabtech product? I have had my truck lifted with Fabtech products for over 2 years...No problem...I think most of the problems come with the installers that are unfamiliar with 2 wheel drive lifts and the products they are installing...

waldo...

The 17 inch wheels mean nothing...32 inch tires are the same with 16 or 17 inch wheels....35s WILL NOT fit with just a 3 1/2 inch lift......They barely fit with 6 1/2 inch of lift on 16x8s.....Now with a additional 3 inches ( a total of 9 1/2 inches) the 315s on 16x10 look great...no rubbing at all........they did on 16x8s with a total of 6 1/2 of lifts.......but hey its your truck..good luck.....Dave (we are talking 4x2 right.....even if we arent 35s wont fit under a 4x4 with 4 inches of lift either with out major fender or bumper mods)....my .02 worth every penny

CR1, When I called them and got the price, it was just for the spindles up front, spacer blocks and hardware in the back and shocks all the way around. This is the lift that does NOT come with arms or coils. The lift with the arms and coils is a 3.5 inch lift. The lift without the arms and coils is only a 3 inch lift. I have been told that the 3.5 inch lift requires new wheels with the correct backspacing,(something our stock wheels don't have). Since I am a player in the Stock Market, money right now to me is in short supply. Thats why I am only going with the 3" lift and keep my stock wheels. I may now go with a ProComp lift now. Less problems and less money. I don't really go offroad except for a few beach launchings with the boat. A new set of 285's should give me plenty of ground clearence and keep me from spinning in the sand or on the ramp. Bluefish97
