Post FABTECH OWNERS

Everyone always talks about how good this lift is. I went to the website and did all this other research on it but the one thing I have never found out is the price. How much does the 2 or 3 inch lift cost and about how much was installation?

Thanks for the help.

Waldo0506,

Guy.....if you save up alittle more you can get a 6.5"-7" lift for $500 bucks more installed. That includes spindle, spings, upper control arm, shocks and a block for the rear. But if you're only lookin for a small lift for a cheaper price go with a body lift. If you do the larger lift(6.5") then you might want to get larger rims and tires to fill in the gap between the tire and fender.....which also leads to needin more cash, but it'll look so saweet. Lates.

Hey Waldo0506, I am also looking at a Fabtech lift for my truck. I just today called around for prices. TruckPerformance.com price was $655 TOTAL!! There is no charge for shipping and of course no tax. 4 Wheel Parts was $620 which included shocks and shipping, but the guy there had no idea what he was talking about. He must have been new so I don't know if that price will fly with his supervisor. National Tire wanted $693 without the shocks. You should get yourself a 4x4 magazine and start calling, then take those prices to your local store to see if they wil match it. Gook luck in your quest, I know what you are going through. I am definitely gonna look around. I am not going over 3.5 and NO body lift, I would have to adjust my pipes and my hidden hitch would become unhidden because I would have to raise the bumpers. I am going to put 35's under it after that. I wont get it till summer though because first i gotta get Office 2000 and that is gonna kick me in the ****. Unless someone would happen to have a spare copy lying around.

Question

Hey 2001, that's a pretty good price for instillation. Where did you get it done at? I think everyone will appreciate you posting pics of it as soon as you can. Also what size tires?

I always thought that Fabtechs products were high quality but now I'm having second thoughts. Now before I explain let me first say that I have never used Fabtech products so this is just hear say.

Talked to a guy today w/ a newer F150 2WD w/ a 6.5 in Fabtech lift and a 3in body lift. Came over today to the shop that does my work, asking for Fabtechs tech support number. Apparently he is having some major problems w/ the lift and its been going on for some time now. Heard the same thing from another guy last week.

He didn't say specifically what is wrong but if I see him again I'll be sure to ask.

dedodd, did you purchase anything from the place that you mentioned?? It says that they are $299 a pair! Do you have to buy 2 pairs? If so, that's still a pretty good price.

ok, i have a question for waldo0506 and 2001 F150. first, waldo are you sure the 35's are going to fit with just the 3in lift? my 305/70/16 rubbed with just the 3 inch lift. and for 2001F150, just curious why you choose a 16x8 instead of a 16x10 for that wide of a tire?
