Hey there!

I have 285/75/16s on the stock rims on my 1998 F250LD 4x4. They fit easily, and were pretty cheap!

They are Cooper Durango MTs (pretty darn aggressive tire) and I got them from Pep Boys- special order.
Cost??
Including mounting, balancing and installing- 75 bucks a tire... not too bad if you ask me!

And they have done wonderfully in the snow and mud that is a Maine winter..lol.

Cooper Durango MTs..maybe not the best "name" brand, but a great tire for me!

I bought my tires from discount tire, $156 per tire, plus all the extras came out to $830 total. The reason I paid so much is because of the warrenty, lifetime balencing and rotating, and lifetime free replacement. I knew that I would be offroading a lot and if I killed a tire, I know they will fix it or replace it. If you don't want all the extras, go with that cooper tire that Maine Mudder was talking about. That's an awesome price. And no, I did not have to do any valence trimming, I did have to relocate a loom of wires that was running on my drivers side frame rail. I don't know how it works on other model years, but on my 2000 it wasn't a big deal. Check out my initial post on getting this to work and a bunch of pics. It's at https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000756.html
