Question Not a Ford, but does anyone know where to get a lift?

Ok, Im not a ford owner but all you guys are doing exactly what i want by lifting your 4x2's. I have a 2001 ram, 5.9, ext cab, 4x2. I want like mad to lift it. I saw where fabtech has the 3" lift buy you have to buy aftermarket rims, which i dont want to do since i jsut spent 800 bucks on a new set of BFG AT KO's. I know that ProComp makes one, but the bottom line question is does anyone know of anywhere that sells a 3 inch spindle lift for the 2001 ram that still can use stock rims and tires? Thanks for the help and not dumping on me for being a dodge guy.

Sorry man. Your only options are a 3in spindle/control arm lift and a 3in body lift. No company makes spindles YET. Ask me in a few more months...hint, hint

2000z71 7-8in Superlift 3/4 ton torsion bars, 3in PA body lift, CST rear dual shock kit w/ Rancho 9000s, 35in BF Muds and tons of other cool mods!

Fabtech has that coil kie

but i didn't know you needed new wheels for it? Did you need them for the tires ie: too big for stock rims or was it becaue of the lift itself.

the kit says that you need rims with a minimum backspacing of so many inches. all i know is it said you cant use the stock wheels. Tires are 265/75/r16, stock 4x4 size.

What about skyjacker? They make Dodge lifts. I can't see why you would need new rims...you may have to add some washers to your steering stops to keep the wheels from rubbing on the control arms at full lock, but you should definately be fine with stock rims and tires. Never heard of a lift that required new rims to work properly. Even though the company say that some things are required...they sadly don't always know what they are talking about...I know from experience.

CST has a lift for the new 2001 Dodge trucks. The new 2001 Dodge Ram has a different suspension than the 2000 - which makes little sense to me considering an all new Dodge is slated to be released in 2002. Our 3" system allows the stock wheel to be retained - an honest 3" inches of lift. For more information, post a message at http://www.supertrucksunlimited.com/phpBB/
