Question 305/70/16 on a stock 2001 f-150 4x4 reg cab. styleside w/ tow package

i got the stock 16x7 rims. is this do-able without any mods or rubbing ? or do i have to go to a narrower tire like a 28/75/16 ???

I am running 305/70/16 Goodyear Wrangler AT/S with 16x10 rims and a 3" Body Lift. If you are going to run that size tire, i HIGHLY suggest that you buy larger rims. If you don't the tires are going to be smushed on and look stupid.

I agree, with a 7" wheel, a 285 will be pushing the limits. The tread width is probably larger than the wheel width. Picture that. :bitterbeerface:

okay, if i get a wider rim. will i be able to fit the tire fine ?
