Question (Not suspension topic) How To Get Foglights on w/o headlights

I know some of you have done this mod. I was wondering how to make my foglights be able to come on whenever i want them to, instead of only when my headlights are on. Any help? Thanks!

Thumbs up

Yes, I did it and it's cool.

Go to www.svtlightnings.com and click on the how to's on the left bar. You'll find a compilation of the post from here there. Or search for the old posts. Be sure to read all ot the intructions including the last one. It works. Mine feels and operates like OEM.

Great how-to! great step-by-step pics. Easy to do. Just make absolutely sure you press in the tab on the stem when you get to the part where you are seperating the switch housing and it gets to the point where you think it will seperate no further. (u will understand when u see it) I didn't and little copper contacts and springs flew everywhere! Took an hour just to correct that l'il mistake.
Did the mod on my brother's truck yesterday. Took only 20 minutes (experience!).
Fogs will also work with lights on high beam too!
