Question Want to add some height

I want to ad some height to give me a little more ground clearance. But I dont want to jack it up so high that is looks silly or raise the center of balance too much.

And maybe get some beefier tires.

How many inches is enough??

TIA

All you need is a goog 7 inch kit from CST(California Super Trucks) . With 35 inch tires.

CST does not make one for the 4 wheel drive F150 yet. I just got off the phone with them about it and they suggested Rancho

I'd suggest that you look at the gallaries here and a FTW and decide how big you want to go. You could do anything from a 3 inch body lift to a 6 inch suspension lift. I have a 3 inch body lift with 33's and love it. A lot of people here and at FTW are running 4 to 6 inch suspension lift with 35's and they look awesome.

You and I have similar trucks...almost everyone nowadays opts for the S'Crew, but I couldn't not buy the Supercab Flareside!

i'm going with the 3" body lift, ($200), over the full suspension lifts($1000 - $1800) price quotes are for just parts from www.truckperformance.com. plus add about another $1000+ for the new gears to spin the bigger tires. dealer put 3:55 under my 98 flareside. and don't forget to beef up the tranny, better safe than pushing.

if your gonna play hard, you better be prepaired to pay hard !!!
