Do F-150's have sealed hubs?

my friends F-150 is groaning on right and left hand turns and It sounds almost identical to when the wheel bearings in my stang were going out.....can I pull them apart and repack them or is it a sealed assembly and you have to replace the entire thing....any suggestions/tips would be great...

Thanks

4x4s have sealed hubs. 4x2s have serviceable bearings. If they're making a rumbling noise though, it's already too late.

You can jack up the wheel and rotate it by had to see if it feels rough.

I dunno Depends what's broken. If a 4x4 bearing fails, you need to replace the entire hub. Is that what you're asking?

eek....I'll turn the wheel freely with the truck lifted tonight and see what comes up.....is there anything else it could be that would cause a groaning on the outside front wheel of a turn?

Thanks alot for your replies
