Non-Adjustable shocks for Towing
I am looking to replace the shocks on my '02 SCrew as I said in the previous post.
I have narrowed it down to the Edelbrock Performer IAS's or the Bilsteins. They are both about the same price.
I will be towing my 16' trailer w/ bikes alot of the time. This equals about 4000-4500lbs.
My question is: Which shocks will work better when towing?
I have heard that the IAS's are softer than the Bilsteins, so do you think my truck will wallow too much with these? What about when I am not towing, are the Bilsteins pretty rough?
By the way, my truck's stance/ride with the trailer and bikes was fine when the shocks were newer.
Thanks again,
Vince Woska

I have the bilstein and they are a good shock That is why I bought them for towing my boat alot different from my 9000 ranchos As far as rough is your truck lifted? mine is lifted and it does ride a little stiffer but more in controll. I dont think the ranchos are all they say they are and the 9000x are only a compression shock no rebound my 02
