Suggestions for 4 inch lift kit
I have a 2003 F150 FX4 Single Cab, Short wheel base, step side with the "overpowering" 4.6l....haha....Anyway, I am wanting to put a lift on and have decided to go with a 4 inch. Now I just need some suggestions on who would be the best to go through due to the fact that all you guys know everything....Thanks...oh yeah, what size tires would work on that....I already have 305/70r/16's BFG AT's with the American Racing Atlas rims....obvioulsly I will go bigger....hook me up fellas!!!!

Was going to go with the Rancho lift but opted for the 5" RCD w/ the Bilstein shocks...couldn't be happier

$3500 seems a bit high. I have the same set up with different tires. 2000 4x4 with 6" fabtech and 315/75/15 BFG A/T. The cost of the lift was 2000 and the tires were 700, installed. YOu didn't break out the price of the lift and the Mickey T's, but the tires may be what is pushing the price up.
Take a look at my pics and it will give you an idea of what you are in for.

i think 3500 is way to high, i mean 4wheel parts fabtech 7.5 inch lift is 1300 and i see fabtech kits 7 inch on ebay for 900 bucks. my 3.5 cost me 740 with tax and my tires i got hooked up for 920 with my black rock crawlers 16x8 with gorilla lugs and locks and computer balanced. i go to this excellent shop in so cal in huntington beach called s and s fabrications. guy is very very good had has years in the business. if anyone needs more info on that shop i will tell ya some more. but install was only 400 bucks and he did it in 24s.

Prices very so much.....I paid $1,450 shipped for my 6'' Fabtech
and I put it on my self. My local 4x4 shop wanted $900 to install
it. So Clearman if you havent bought a lift already I would just install it your
self its fairly easy All you need is couple buddys, some tools and about
10-14 hrs
If you went with or go with the Fabtech 6'' you will be surprised on how nice
it installs. No regrets
