Unhappy Steering wheel play after blowing out 2 tires?

This past weekend I was driving pretty fast (maybe 60 mph) on a dirt road when I struck a pretty large rock with both front and rear left side tires. This consequently blew out both tires as well as tearing up the front rim pretty bad, not to mention leaving me walking. Now that I replaced the tires the truck seems to have excessive play when driving down the highway. Even when I hit small bumps it seems like the steering wheel wants to turn. Anyone know what this could be?

Thanks

At the very least, it probably needs an alignment. It would be a good time to have a complete suspension evaluation to check for damage.

you probably just wore out the tie rod ends if its just a little play.but if you don't know anything about replacing those then i'd go have it checked
