1996 f150/ f250 knucle compatability

im in the process of putting the 10.25 sterling axle in the rear of my f150. my concern is that i would want to have 8 lug all the way around. i know the 4x4 knucles from the 150/and250 are different, wider and what not. But what about 2wd knucles, idealy i would like to just put in a complete set of knuckes from a 250 and put them on my truck. does anyone know if they will fit? im pretty sure the ball joints are the same, so i guess its just a matter of how wide they are. thanks for the help guys.

You'd have to find the outters off of a D44HD used on mid-late 70s F250s. D50 stuff won't work, but the HD44 will. Keep in mind that the D44HD will use dual piston calipers and you will most likely need to run 16.5" wheels in order to clear them.
