Question New Upper A-Arms = Harsh Ride?

I recently had to get new upper A-arms installed because the ball joints wore out (they are all one piece) and now my truck's ride is terrible! It vibrates and shake a lot. Was there something the tech did when he installed them that could have caused this? -Thanks

There could be a few things wrong here. First bet is he did not lubricate the bushings in the new A-Arms and thus they are binding up and not allowing th suspension to move. Second, he could have over tightened the bolts also which would cause binding. It could also be he did not do a front-end alingment and the truck is out and thus doesn't drive the way it should. I'd take it back and have them check all those things I mentioned.

I recently also replaced the upper and lower a arm ball joints to some heavy duty MOOG's when I had the energy suspension bushings placed into the a arms. I also had the sway bar bushings installed at the same time. I only have have experienced a squeaky sound from the bushings since they are polyurethane even though they are greased up....well good luck with that and nice muddy rig you got

Thanks y'all! I'll check those things out. Does anybody know if there is a torque specification for the upper A-arm bolts (the ones that attach it to the frame)?
