4x4 lift size

I want to lift my 04 4x2 to be the size of the 04 4x4. I was reading about putting a 2" lift on the front but nothing on the back? Can someone tell me what I need to lift it to match the 4x4. Thanks

I really don't know about the ride height differences, butu I do feel inclinde to warn you that ANY lift you do to a truck tends to void the warranty. The 04 front suspensions really haven't been tested yet (by time). The 97-03s have issues with the tie rod ends and some have been replaced under warranty. Anything you do to lift your truck will, according to the dealers and Ford, be the cause of any problems you might have. If I were you, I would leave it alone until the warranty runs out.

You might want to look at the Daystar coil spring spacers or similar lifts. As for warranty, check with YOUR dealer. Some dealers are pretty cool about mods and some aren't. The Daystar spacers should not affect anything except maybe the warranty on the coilover shocks. A lot of dealers are installing these spacers on new trucks and selling them.
