Coil spacers and tire clearance

I have a 04 FX4 SuperCab with stock 255/70-17......The stock tires look pathetic in such a large wheel well and I was curious if with the coil spacer 2"/2.5" front leveling kit would clear 33x1250x17s, and if 33s would fill up the wheel well enough? Also, Tuff Country makes the spacers in aluminum and Daystar makes spacers in polyurethane - which do you recommend? Thanks for any help or advice.

I've seen several members here and at FTW running 315/70-17 (35x12.50) tires with only a leveling kit so 33x12.50-17's will fit easily. Some people are scared of the urethane spacers breaking down over time but I havn't had any problems with the ones on my Jeep. I've had them since 2001.

Talking Leveling kit

I just order mine today there is a company out there making the spacers out of 1/4 plate steel and the bolt on to the top of the strut tower so you don't have to use a spring compressor. I did some checking and these a in a good price range at $115 a set with no shipping charge they also have a life time warranty. There is a guy in this fourm that has 35's with the 2.5's leveling kit he said he only gets scrubbing in tight turns but he said it is from the tires that he useed the toyo mt they have a large side tread. You should be fine with anykit you go with but there are a lot out there check around for what suits you best. I cant get the link to work right now email me if you want it.
