hi!

do you have any info on diagrams, pictures, books, etc. where it shows all the suspension/steering components are in the truck e.g. idler arm, pittman arm, etc.

i have the chilton book but it's not that informative.

2000 F-150 4.6 4x4 Lariat

 

The pitman arm bolts to the steering box. The idler arm is on the opposite framerail from the gear box on the other end of the drag link, bolted to the frame. If you need to replace the idler arm, you need to measure the distance between the bolts that hold it on.
