Cranking torsion bars...

MY 2002 Supercrew 4x4 sits much higher in the rear. Cranking the torsion bars should fix this problem shouldn't it? Also, when I crank the torsion bars, what all will that change on the trucks suspension such as ride quality, height, etc. I know I have to get an alignment done after this too. Just curious cause I don't want to screw up anything. Thanks. Also, how much for a front alignment??

You will increase the front ride height, I personally would not go more than 1.5 to 2". The higher you go the less down travel the front suspension has going over holes and will make the ride rough.

The ride will be stiffer after cranking the bars. The more you crank em the stiffer it gets.

You shouldn't have to crank them too much though, I think it only takes a few turns.

My alignment was $60 after the first shop said they couldn't align the truck with the torsion bars cranked.
