more tie rod questions????
hey guys,
Are the factory tie rods made of an inferior quality steel or is it just the fact that they arent greaseable that makes them fail so quickly?????
If i get myself one of those needle point attachments for my greese gun and start greeseing things on my 2003 with currently about 7,000 miles on it how long can i expect them to last? The seals look perfect on them so i cant see how any greese could have leaked out as of yet. And the seals on our 98 farm truck also look perfect yet and have had no problems at 50k miles- and these have never been greased either.
Are the MOOG replacements made any different or just greaseable?
