Supercrew Body Lift?

THIS HAS TURNED OUT TO BE THE BIGGEST PAIN IN THE REAR I'VE WORKED ALL WEEKEND AND STILL HAVE ATLEAST 8HRS TO GO HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD ALOT OF PROBLEMS? THE DIRECTIONS LEAVE OUT ALOT. HAD TO GRIND OUT THE BED BOLTS IT IS ALMOST BETTER TO PAY SOMEONE $300.00 TO LIFT BIT AT ASHOP

Sorry to hear you are having problems. Ford did get carried away with the Loctite didn't they?

yeah that sucks, mine was just a little time consuming but didnt have any real trouble. It will be worth it when your done, knowing you did it yourself. where in WV are you located?

ya that sucks i had to grind my bed bolts out and i torqued the heads off on the two front bolts, it just takes pateitince and time it took me three 8 hour days but its well worth it. Also i heard that the torx bit is a 50 not a 47 like the directions say, so that could be the another pain, hope it works out

OH THATS DOWN BY HUNTINGTON , WELL PROB NOT REAL CLOSE. IM NORTH IN BRIDGEPORT .I USED TO WORK AT THE TRI COUNTY AIRPORT OFF EXIT 1, ANYWAY GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR TRUCK.

no i live about 2 1/2 hrs away (about 20 min south of morgantown). but yes i did do the lift on mine. the thing i found the trickest was the stuff under the hood, like routing the rigid lines and getting my hands in those places. pulling the carpet back was just time consuming. anyway if you need any advice dont hesitate to ask, I'll try to answer. if you want to shoot me an e-mail i'll give you my # to call if computer talk dosnt help
