Question Factory Leaf Springs

I was driving in my '99 SD 4x4 yesterday and I pulled into the local Ford dealership to look at this copper clolored '01 SD SC 4x4. As I was looking at the truck I noticed my truck seemed shorter than the '01 so I pulled up next to it. Looking at both trucks from the side the front end of both trucks seemed level but the rear on my truck was a few inches lower. The '01 had a completely stock suspension and was rolling on 265/75R16 tires. I have heard something about the SD's leaf springs sagging over time but are they suppose to sag this much? Also, is there such thing as reconditioning my factory springs so they can ride close to stock again?

Do you put a lot of weight in the bed of your truck often? I've heard of leaf springs sagging over time, but not on a 6 year old truck. Did the other truck have some camper special suspension or something?

The '01 is totally stock. The most that I haul around in the bed of my truck is a cooler every now and then.
