Most lift kits include a simple lift block and new u-bolts, or an add-a-leaf for the rear. It doesn't get much cheaper than that.

go to your local advanced autoparts and they have lift blocks and shackles the lift blocks are $25 and the shackles cost about $15

Like I said, most lift kits come with lift blocks or add-a-leaves for the rear unless you pay extra to get a set of replacement springs. You won't be saving any money by purchasing lift blocks from the parts store. Also, they won't come with any shims to correct the pinion angle like most lift kit manufacturers include in their kits.

Don't cheap out when it comes to the suspension. If you want to save money then don't lift it. As was mentionned lift kits come with the required parts to correctly lift the truck. You will in fact be paying more for parts that are already included. While I do not condone blocks they are used in most kits which also offer an optional replcement spring or a helper spring. When I finally get around to adding a suspension lift I will have new rear springs fabbed up to replace the factory ones. I do not like blocks.
