2004 4wd & 2wd What's the Diff in Height?

I have a 2004 xlt F-150 new body. Does anyone know whats the difference in height suspension wise between 2wd and 4wd stock F-150s. I want to put the 4wd springs on up front and 4wd leafs in the rear. Will this work at lifting the truck a little? Thanks guys

Not sure on the front but I believe the only difference on the rear is that the 4X4 uses a 2" block between the axle and leaf springs. The springs are the same but the 4X4 uses longer U bolts to accommodate the lift block.

I think the difference is 2 inches. I don't think what you've got in mind will work. Just add a 2.5 inch leveling kit up front and a 2 inch lift block in the rear. This will be a lot cheaper also.
