Add-a-leaf

I'm looking into gettin an add-a-leaf for christmas. What would be a good brand to get and from where? Also, is it very hard to install?

i got the pro comp add a leaf, it lifted the rear around 2" i got it from summit, the install is not hard all you do is jack up the rear till the tires come off the ground, support the frame with jackstands and than you take off the u bolts holding your axle to the leaf springs than there will be a bolt going threw the center of the spring pack you take this off and use the new saplied bolt and you add the leaf were it recomends it, there are spring keepers that will need to be bent out of the way also i did mine in about and hour with a freinds help but i have acess to a 4 point lift, good luck

Sorry if this is a stupid question....but what would be the benefit of adding another leaf versus and bigger block in the back???....

the add a leaf actually will make the rear stiffer, will cuase the rear to sag less with a heavy load, it might even help with braking as the rear wont come up as much, it will even help with body roll in the rear, hope i cleared this up

Big LIft Blocks = Big axle wrap
I think a add-a-leaf would help control the axle wrap.
