Today when I was fixing my tail pipe(hanger broke so now left side hangs) I noticed the shackles on my leaf spring. I have seen lift shackles for Jeeps EVERYWHERE and was wondering if they are made for our trucks. I did a search and found truckin-store.com or something like that and it said it required hangers. So I took a look at the hangers and am not quite sure why they are needed. So my question is, does anyone use lift shackles and if so, is the hanger really required?
