When I bought my truck, the torsion bars were cranked uneven. The driver's side was cranked more than the other. For the past 7 monthes I have notices a clunking noise when I go over bumbs. I believe it is coming from the driver's side torsion bar or thats where I feel the vibration and hear the noise. Should both bars be even?

Not necessarily. All torsion bars are not the same, so they sometimes have to be cranked more to get the same height. Don't adjust them.

This is a common misconception, you wont always turn each bolt the same amount. One can require 1 turn, while the other can take 2 turns (just an example), to get the same amount of lift on both sides.

A clunking noise when driving over bumps is usually associated with a ball joint going bad. I would get it checked out.
