My Rancho's are shot

I have had rancho rs 9000's on for about 4.5 years and they have been great I usually tell people it was the single best mod I have made to the truck.

Now I can't turn the **** (On all four of them) to change the damping rate and they are rusting very badly.

They are supposed to have a lifetime warranty. Before I call has anyone in here exercised a rancho warranty? If so any advice?

At the same time I put the Rs's on I also installed a rancho steering stabilizer and it still works great and is not rusting. Infact it is keeping me from needing a new idler every year!

TIA

H-

The 5000's arent adjustable, it sounds like you have the 9000s.

Second, I dont think Rancho's warranty covers regular usage. Now, since they are rusting and you cant get the **** to turn, you might be able to get them replaced for that, but I wouldnt expect anything.

what little i have heard is that rancho was painless to deal with on warranty issues and replaces their stuff with very few questions asked.

this is why rancho stuff costs more than pro-comp.

How did you make out with Rancho

HCMQ,
How did you make out with the warranty dept at Rancho? My passenger front 9000 was replaced under warranty after 10k of use. Rancho told me to go see any authorized dealer and they would take care of it. Went to a local speed shop, told them my problem. They said to give them both front shocks, even though the driver side was fine, pay $10 for shipping, two days latter new shocks. Your post made me check the dial issue with all the shocks. Sure enough both rear dial ***** are seized. At least they are permenantly stuck on setting 5, which they have been on that setting for the past 3 yrs.
