FabTech Lift Questions

The Fabtech 6 incher seems to be the lift of choice for the 04-05 f150. I read through the instructions to see how the lift was engineered and they seem to have covered their bases.

I do have a question. (any high mileage owners can chime in)

Have you have problem with excessive ball joint wear from the bigger tires? Also... What other wear items are wearing out faster and do you get much shimmy on the freeway? (The instructions say to check ball joints every 3,000-5,000 miles . . .DOH!)

This is what my truck would look like with the fabtech lift. (I think this is the fabtech lift - maybe its the procomp)

I did a search and found a little info, but most of the posts turned into a which lift is better fight

Thanks!

Just to let you know. That is not a fabtech lift. It looks like a ProComp to me.

Dude, don't worry about it. Nothing is going to wear out so fast that its going to sway your decision on not doing it.
