Tires Rubbing

When I Turn The Steering Wheel A Little Too Much, My Tires Rub. What Can I Do To Stop That? I Have 35" Nitto Grappler Tires With A 6 " Suspension Lift. Thanks.

Where are they rubbing? You may be able to trim something if it's plastic.

Try drilling 2 holes through tthe inner fender and running a plastic zip tie through them and pull the plastic back some.

tires rubbing

Iron_lung I have the 04 f150 with the fabtech 6" lift as well as the nitto terra grapplers 325 60 r20 and I have the same problem. The tires rub on the back part of the fenders. You cant really cut anything there. What is your offset? Mine is a -25mm. I might buy a 3" body lift so I can get rid of the problem. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

When a buddy of mine started rubbing with his new tires, he did exactly this but used a shoe string...it would be in your best interest to go with a Zip Tie. The tire grinded down the string.

I just came back from doing this to my truck..... You are a life saver. I was dreading having to cut the back of the fenderwell. It works great!

tire rub

My tires actually rub on the outside of the fender where the factork fender flares are. I am getting new flares but they mount in the same place and im sure I will still have the rub. My tires stick out 3-4 inches I dont have the right offset (I think).
