I have 90 F150 2wd std cab that needs some parts. I am looking for the bracket the holds the lower part of the shackle to the frame. The shackle has ripped out of the mounting bracket. I plan on just drilling out the rivets and attaching a new bracket but I can't find any. Do any of you know if I can purchase this part new and if so where? Or is this something I will have to try and find at a junkyard? Again this is not the shackle but the bracket that attaches the shackle to the frame.

You are talking about the hanger. I assume you can buy it new. Some lowering kits consist of a new hanger and shackle to achieve the drop.

 

I can't seem to find anymore information regarding getting some replacement hangers. I am not wanting to lower the truck as it is used for work purposes. I also would rather not go to the dealer for the part if possible. Any hints as to where to find the rear shackle hanger?
