does anyone know the difference in ride height (ground clearance) between the 2wd and 4wd 1999 f150s?
a site with this sort of information would be nice
ive been wanting to do some mods to my 4x4, but if i lift it, ill be too tempted to take it off road and ill just break things, so lowering is a possiblity, and all ive found is a 3 inch kit, and i dont know if that would really even be noticeable

call me crazy for wanting to lower a 4x4, thats fine, im just shopping now, no major committments yet, gotta get all the facts first

Your 4x4 is approximatly 3 inches taller than a 4x2.
