Can I use 3" blocks?

I am wanting to rasie my truck up about 1" in the rear. I was wondering if there would be any problems with removing the factory 2" blocks and replacing them with 3" blocks and new u-bolts? Any input would be great!

Thats how most aftermarket lifts work...nothing wrong with that, just make sure you get the right U-bolts.

Cypress700...I found 3" blocks and matching u-bolts at AutoZone for $20. Almost sounds to good to be true.

Johngs..that was kind of what I was thinking, but like I said, for $20 it almost sounds to good to be true. Im gonna buy them tonight and install them.

As long as you don't stack blocks to make the lift bigger you will be ok. Make sure you get the longer u-bolts.

I got the blocks put on tonight. Install went super smooth and everything fits great. I got the look I was after, so I would consider it a good mod for $20. Ill post pics as soon as I get a chance.
