Changed rear shocks.

I finally changed my rear shocks last night on my 97 F150 4x4. What a pain! The access to the upper nut was nearly impossible. If you lived up north in the salt world, how would you ever get those off?

Took 2 hours to change them, but finally, I have Rancho's all around.....

I live in Pennsylvania almost into New York state and changed my 4 shocks over to ranchos rs 5000 love them. the rear shock top bolts are hard to get to did my brothers '99 first with no lube or anything came right off and I used pb blaster on mine just in case but they were just as easy as his. I was suprised of the ease of getting them off thought for sure the salt would have screwed me but it was really easy

I put the RS 5000's on there. Did the fronts a year or more ago. Had them on and old Bronco and loved them, there too. It had the quad shock front, which I thought rode and handled nicely.

So far, these are a vast improvement over the worn out Trailmaster units that were on there. Made a great improvement in the axle wrap up when starting/stopping, etc.
