lift kit for 2002 super crew

I was thinking about a 2" torsion key lift for my 2002 Supercrew. I currently have the chrome 17" rims with 265/70's. Does anyone have a pic of these wheels on a 285. I'd also like to see a pic of a truck with a similar lift on it if anyone has one. Thanks guys!

Dont do the torsion key lift, all that does is put more pre-load on the torsion bars and makes the ride VERY stiff.

If you want a minor lift like that, get a body lift, only about $250 or so for the kit.

I agree. Save your money and crank up the torsion bars with the stock adjustment keys. If that isn't enough, install a body lift.

lift

I appreciate the suggestions guys. The only thing is I hate the look of bodylifts. The frame hanging down is not very appealing to me. The reason I'm considering the keys is because of my other vehicle. I lowered my 2001 Chevy Tahoe with keys & it rides factory & the install was around 1 hour taking my time sipping on adult beverages. And if I wanted to go back stock it was simple to do. That's why I was asking. I have one more obstacle I just thought of though. I gotta measure the height of my garage door!

Nerf bars or running boards really cover the little bit of frame that is exposed on our trucks. Take a look at the pics in my gallary.

Also, the Performance Accessories lift include brackets to bring the bumpers up as well, and you can get gap guards to go in the wheel wells.
