I have finally decided my next mod is going to be a 3" body lift but I am running into a problem. I have a Westin Sportsman Kd Grille guard on my 2002 FX4. The mounts for the guard bolt up to the frame right where the tow hooks are. Also the other mount stabalizers go between my bumper and my grille. Does anyone know if Westin or any other company makes an adapter that i could use so i can keep my grille guard on with the body lift and still move my bumber up? Thanks for any advice

 

You will probably have to find a shop that will make you an adapter plate.

I imagine somewhere like a 4x4 shop could do it, or maybe a decent garage with someone who can do some basic fabrication.

 

Yeah that is what I thought. I have been searching for days and have not been able to find anything.

 

The main thing is, I dont think youll be able to find something like that pre-made.
