Ball joints

Went to pepboys and they said i cant just change the upper balljoint that i have to replace the whole upper a arm .Does this sound right.They want 80 buck for the part but i get 20% off cause i work at the warehouse. Also 30 bucks for lower ball joint

Ball Joints

There right, you do have to replace the upper arm to replace the ball joint. Get mooge greaseable parts,the best.

yes its true

I just replaced both upper control arms and lowert ball joints and used moog greaseable parts the price about the same , then have your alignment redone.

you should put in new cam bolts when replacing the upper A-arm to make it easer to do the alignment. you can see them in my pic.
