Front Shocks on 2004 New Body Style F150

Has anyone changed the front shocks on the 04 F150? It looks like a strut configuration, with the coil springs over the shocks. How difficult is it to change them out? Explain the process.

A lot of people have removed them to install spacers (leveling kits). Basically, you seperate the tie rod end and remove the coilover shocks.
