that is the "pre-runner" look. As he mentioned, very common in California I hear. My 6" RCD lift came with 4" blocks in the rear but I installed 6" blocks to level mine up.

He has a spacer in the front which is giving him the added height in the front. My truck doesnt sag as much because I put a 5 inch block in the rear , but i need about another 2 inches. This summer I'm adding the add a leaf.

4X4 Look 4x2 syte.

In regards to getting a 4x4 instead. Basically I got my f150 supercrew for 20,888 or so.. .. The 4x4 would have least cost me 28,000/29,000 or more. Also my car Ins is 70 dollars cheaper a month...Had a H3 before this an INS 4x4 was crazy...

I was concered about axle wrap with the 6" blocks so I installed the RCD rear traction bars to stiffin tings up a bit. How is a 6" block going to cause any more problems to the springs then a 4" block which the kit came with?

How can I achieve this. Lift kit, body lift. or can I get bigger tires and wheels?? Any Help, ignorant about trucks. thx
Read my posting below. All you have to do is get a 4x4 coilover, rear 4x4 shocks and blocks and install them. Done...finished.

I've been experimenting for months with various combinations. Just had this done yesterday and it looks great. NO rubbing, matter of fact the upper support arm looks close to stock, maybe 1 inch below horizontal. You also have the added advantage of having a stiffer ride.

If you are in California even better, there is a company selling some takeoffs for really cheap. Only thing you will have to buy over the counter is the 2" blocks.

Whatever you do, DO NOT install the coilovers AND the spacer. You will get 5" of lifet, but you will not be able to align the front end.

This is going to cost a lot lot of those guys selling those kits.

Trac bars are good! I didn't know you had them.

I don't understand how is it safe to run 6 inch blocks but not safe to run over 3 inches for a body lift? Six inches of block just doesn't sound right. I'm pretty sure that would level mine out but I rather get an add a leaf to do it.

6" blocks go under the rear axle...It's not something that I'd ever do. It's a great way to kill your rear leaf springs, unless if you really like axle wrap Chris said that he had trac bars installed, but those cost extra $$$ too, probably about what it would cost to get new springs in the rear. If you're going to run blocks, I'd stay with something less than 3".

I agree, those rear traction bars aint cheap by any means. When I first had the lift installed I went with the blocks to save some $$$. I would just go with springs in the rear I just heard it is tough to gain much height if you're trying to level your truck up with springs. I intend to one day go with a lesser of a block and more spring but after just purchasing the XCAL2 and AF1 I decided to cool my spending on the truck for a while.

I'm debating on switching my spacer with a smaller one or going with a spring in the rear. I don't have the money right now so I can harp on it hard.
