04 F-150 4x2

Hey, I have a 04 4x2 with a 4.6 and I am thinking about the procomp 6" lift. If I go with this what size tires do you guys recommend? I dont want to have to regear. My truck has the 3.73 gear ratio. I have been reading on here and people say the procomp 6" lift is higher in the front than the back. That seems to be a good thing for 2wd trucks since they are lower in the front to start with? If I add the procomp lift will my truck be fairly level? I am new to this; any help at all will be greatly appreciated!

The Pro COmp lift should pretty much level your ride height. You could run 33 or 35's with a 6 inch lift on a 4x2.

if you go with 33s make sure you get 305s with a 6 inch lift.

Does anybody know any good wheel tires combinations that will work with this truck? Like specific brands and so forth. Just figured a lot of you have already had good results with a simular truck.

I'd suggest an 18x9 inch wheel with at least 5 inches of backspacing and a 325/60-18 (33x13.00) all terrian tire. There are dozens of possible wheels you could use. For a tire, I'd go with a quality all terrian tire like the Nitto Terra Grappler, Toyo Open Country AT, BFG AT KO, Pro Comp Xtreme AT or Mickey Thompson ATZ.

I was looking at going with 17x9 wheels and Mickey Thompson Baja Radial MTX 33x12.5R17 tires, see any problems with this or got any advice?

Well I decided what I am going to go with on my truck. Fabtech 6" lift and BFGoodrich AT T/A - KO tires 33" and I am going to use 17x9 Procomp alloy 1079 wheels. I'll post some pics when I get it all in and installed! Also, anyone recommend a good exhaust system for my truck?

Thanks for all the help everyone!
Paul
