Question lift kits

hey guys , I am new to this and I have an 03 screw I was wondering if a 4" lift would look good with 285's or should I go with 305's ? does any one have any pics out there with those applications on there rigs?
Is the 285 a 33" tire, and is the 305 a 35 " or a 34" tire?
Thanks

The 285 is essentially a 33" tire. It is actually 32.8" in overall diameter. The 305 is a 33" tire. They both can be put on the same size rim. I really do not know the exact difference between the tires besides the .4 difference in the overall diameter.

305 is a wider tire than 285 (305 millimeters, 285 millimeters wide) but they are both considered 33" tires - The 4" rancho lift is actually like a 5.5" lift. I would go with 35" tires, not 33" tires - the tires only cost a few dollars more (seriously like $10 more each for me). It looks better in my opinion having the 35" tires, they seem to fill up the wheel well better. I dont know how much the 4" rancho lift cost, but a lot of people around here sing praises of the 6" fabtech. Thats what I have on my truck and I love it. Never used the rancho though.
