control arms

if i put a 3 lift on my truck with i have to replace anything? like the control arms? the guy who sold me the lift said i wouldnt but im just wondering. its 98 f 150 2wd

What kind of lift is it and what does it consist of? If it is lift spindles, that is all you should need.
