Do you know how payment is going to be yet?

I really want to get the Rize Industries kit but the deal kind of sounds too sketchy right now. However, I really don't want to pay $3600 just for my lift.

u get what u pay for. the quality is what your paying 3600 for not the 8" blows away anything else.

Have you had a 6" Fabtech on a new body-style F-150?

i doubt he has had time to have 2 different lift kits on a new f-150
but i dont doubt its craftesmanship and it blowing away everything else after talking to everyone who has the kit and reading about 5 articles in truckin' , off road, and other magazines about the 8 inch rize kit.

Well after speaking to Rize themselves and another dealer in Florida, I don't really think its that big of a deal. Im sure its a little bit better than Fabtech. But, not worth near as much as they want. See ya!

too each there own i always say. u seem lke your looking for the cheapest way to it wich doesnt always work out for the best in the end but good luck with whatever u choose.

one other point to make here. with my kit, i can still go with a leveling kit or bigger coilovers down the road and have 10.5 inches of lift with a 6" kit and the leveling kit your done. unless u go with a body lift, but i'll put my true 8" next to a 6" with a 3" bodylift any day of the week. at least i have rue ground clearance and my frame rails and everything under the truck isnt hanging down. the whole point of the nice designed body is to cover up the ugly frame and whatever else shows after u lift the body. no thanks ill pay a little more and look alot better.

How much did you end up paying?

First of all, the Fabtech kit that Im getting retails for $2800 so that is clearly not going the cheapest route because I can get the Procomp 6" for $1100. Yes you'll always have 2" more of lift compared to a 6", duh. Im not argueing that.

Secoundly, when a shop tells me to just go with the Fabtech that the 8" Rize really isn't worth how much they want than that tells you something. Im sure they make more money off of the Rize Ind kit than the Fabtech so why wouldn't they want to sell it?

This doesn't make any sense. Yes you can go with those two things and get 10.5" of lift and also have screwed up angles along with your driveshaft angles, Im sure. I just don't understand how you're comparing the two in this sense. I can also add the spacer or crank my coilovers, get more lift and more crazy angles, same as you. Its not my money, as its not yours, so theres no point in argueing.

I wish I knew about pro comp when I bought my kit. Cheaper would of been better to me because my truck isn't used for off roading. The question is what is the hieght of the lift in the rear? 5 inches 6 inches or what? I would like to know that.
