go under your truck. find your tosion bar . follow it back toword your bed. you find a bolt supporting a peice of steel wedged in the middle of your frame and the bolt is going to be about 1.5" exposed. crank it down to raise the front end. count exposed threads so both sides are even.

Dont bother measuring the threads on the bolts. Every torsion bar is a little different, so one side might require more turns than the other. Measure by ride height instead.

I recommend taking your time, tighten the screw a little bit, then go measure, repeat as necessary. Also it might be a good idea to go drive around the block to see if your measurements have changed any.

You can drive without the alignment, but I recommend you get one done ASAP.

well let me speak from experience....GET THE ALIGNMENT! I raised my front end w/ the torsion bars, and didnt get an alignment. Tore up a set of Terra Grapplers by not doing it. Also, the more you turn them, the worse the ride will get. Or thats just how it was in my case. good luck.

May be a stupid question, but Im about to even my truck out....can you make the adjustments with all the tires on the ground or do you have to jack it up? Thanks.

A lot of people adjust them with the tires on the ground.

You can do it with the tires on the ground.. I heard it is easier to do it with the truck in the air

A little bit goes a long way when doing this. Too much will cause normal driving to beat the crap out of your front end. A little bit should be fine.

I adjusted my torsion bars 20,000 miles ago. I haven't had an alignment, and my tires have not worn unevenly. Brand new Nittos and still looking good. I adjusted mine on the ground. Tighten the bolts shown, drive around and measure a couple of times. I do have a little rougher ride raising my front end
