Question for Wandell and other suspension junkies
Allright so I'm finally done with motor mods and programmers, so now it's time to get the stance I want. My truck is an '01 2WD SCAB. I am thinking 1.5 inch leveling blocks up front and add a leafs in the rear with a 3" body lift to clear 35's or the metric equivalent as I didn't find a 35 on BFG's website for a 16 inch rim. My rim choice is the AR 767 16x10. So my questions are will I clear that tire with my proposed lift or am I stuck in 33 land? How much rub will I have? Will it be tolerable, or too much? And last, what gear ratio will get me back to where I need to be. I think my truck has an open diff and I will likely go with and air locker. Oh hell and what is the metric equivalent of a 35?

No, you can't fit a 35x12.50 (315/75-16) on a 4x2 with only a 1.5 inch spacer and a 3 inch body lift, especially with a 10 inch wide wheel. That lift will put you at about the same height as a stock 4x4 with the torsion bars cranked up. I'd stick with a 33x12.50 (305/70-16). Even with 33's you are gonna have to trim your front bumper's lower plastic valance for clearance.
As for gears, what is your stock ratio. There should be a tag on the differential.
