33" Toyo Open Country M/T's?

Does anyone know if 33" tires will fit in the wheel wells of a stock height 4X4 1997 F-150? I'm looking to fill the wells better without spending the load of money to lift it.

Yes. Several members here and at FTW are running 33x12.50's on stock 97-03 F-150 4x4's. If you mount them on a 10 inch wide wheel you will have to trim a little plastic off the front bumper's lower valance for clearance.

Hey wandell how do you think 285/70/17 BFG's would look on my stock wheels with no lift. I am going to forget about the lift for a little while longer, until the truck gets a little older. I want it to be a little more economical if you know what i mean. Anyways do you think this 33" would look good and would it rub at all. How well will it fill out the wheel well I dont want it to look like to much tire. If i cranked the torsion bars up wouldent give me height so it wouldent rub. And since they will be on OEM wheels they shouldent even rub at all should they.

285/70-17's (33x11.50) or 33x12.50-17's will look fine. Here's a pic of my truck at stock height with 285/75-16 BFG's on the OEM wheels.
