Well, AutoSpring is no help. They took the money and ran. They said I was trying to get free stuff? What was I trying to get free? I asked them about the suspesion problems I was having on my new truck and basically blew me off. I thought they would have a suggestion, but they didn't.

I agree as well. I think I'm getting bit by the lift bug. Oh well, I see my money floating away soon, but the truck will look awesome!

How is the rcd's pricing? Competitive with fabtech?

I'm 2wd so a 6" wouldn't look too high I think. I keep reading of all the people on this site with AS problems, us not among them, and I just don't want to be among them. If I do get a lift I think I'll DIY it. 2wd's are easier.

You'll find it hard to locate threads of praise. The complainer threads are more visible, but for the most part the people without any problems don't post.
Well, I will be one the first that does. I have the 2" AS kit on my '05 and haven't had any problems. I don't drive a lot though, the kit has only been on for about 10,000 miles.

By the way, my kit was installed by a Ford dealership. Also, these kits do have an offset built in which is supposed to correct for any possible rubbing problems. I wonder if the kits installed in the trucks having problems were installed with the correct orientation?

I'm going with the 4" (closer to 5") Rancho because Massachusetts sucks! Their lift laws were written by ****'s (i'm a cop and I think they suck) It is a nice lift with enough height to clear my 35's with no probs and I keep the factory rims. As far as running my AS until spring well UCA's are only $72 each to replace...I can deal with that to look cool in the meantime on 35's

only in AS spacer??????

Hey guys, does this problem only happen with the AS spacer?? I want to get the Truxx 3" spacer. I know that the Truxx spacer sits on top. Will this one be better or will I get the same problem. My truck is a 4x2 2006 (if this matters). Thanks!!

Same problems exist with any type of spacer. They all affect suspension angles and geometry.

Stealth, do they sell any lifts smaller than a 6" for our trucks. Or is the Fabtect our only solution to go higher??
