How hard is it to install the procomp lift yourself, and how long would it take? I was thinking the same thing because i was thinking of leveling my truck and adding a 2" block in the back and then adding the 3" body lift, but thats 5" and procomp ends up being 6 or 7" and looks a hella lot better, plus isnt nearly as stressful on the car. If i couldnt install it myself, how much would it cost at a shop you think?

u can have a shop install it for like 500 maybe less if u get a good deal. but to me it is no comparison a suspension lift is far nicer then a body lift. to me a body lift will look good from a far but far from good. but that is just my opinion.

Hope this helped...LMK if you still want pictures of the muffler.
If you could take a few pictures that would be wonderful. I just cant picture the drop and how it would look. Otherwise your truck looks awesome! I am looking into a 2.5" autospring in front, 2" blocks in back and the 3" body lift with some 35's. I just dont want to have any weird gaps, i know i need gap guards, but the back is what bothers me with the exhaust and tailgate look. Let me know Pictures would be awesome. Thank you.

THANKS, spinnintires! I'll take some pix today, put them in my gallery and let you know. IF your intentions are to save some cash, I don't think you'll be too disappointed with this setup. I'm in complete agreement with allrsdup but money, time, tools, and mechanical skills played major factors in my decision. I think...keeping the truck looking stock...looks cool too.

The guy that put on my Rancho for $500 said he would put the PA body lift on for $300 (damn cheap). He told me this after he put on the Rancho and I believe before he knew how much of a pain in the a@# it was but he said he would stick to the price quoted. I had a friend call last week and ask how much he would charge for a 3" body on a 05 F-150 and he told him $650 (glad he is a man of his word!).

Thanx

That looks awesome man. Now i cant really tell from the picture, how much did the gap between the tailgate and the bumper really grow, it looks like it didnt change much at all, or is this because of the fabricated bumper bracket you had done? It looks awesome otherwise, i think i may try to raise the exhaust if its not to hard but it really doesnt look awkward at all if i had to leave it that way, im just a perfectionist, and if it can go back to the original look id probably do it, but that gap does not look like its just hanging in the middle of nowhere like i thought it would.
Congrats again on the lift and i will make sure to show pictures when i get things done. I think im putting lights in my grill, a leveling kit (2.5" autospring) and 1.5" blocks in the back on in the next week or two, and ill put pictures on after.
