05 Screw 3" body lift *Update PA lift is done-Pics*

For those that have installed the PA for the 04-06. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that you would share as to the assembly of the kit? Took about an hour to complete the disassembly, and now am ready to install. Gotta wait till tomorrow morning to start the assembly process. Any & all help is appreciated. I will post an AFTER pic tommorow. Here is the BEFORE with a 6" Fabtech sitting on Weld Racing w/35's.

Thanks for looking....Iric

Finished the lift in about 10 hours. Fairly simple & air tools make it that much easier. As you can tell by the pics, I still have to tweak the front & rear bumpers. Overall, I am completely happy with the way the truck looks now. WRK4GAS, the kit came with 2 flat 3 inch riser brackets for the rear bumper. No fab work, just drilling.

Wandell & WRK4GAS, thanks for the input & kudos.....Iric

Sweet truck! I've installed 4 body lifts, but never on an 04-06. The main thing is to follow the instructions and take your time.

Iric,

Updated my Gallery. Your bumper is definitely different from mine. Looking at the PA instructions, you have your work cut-out for you on the Rear Bumper Re-location. Good luck and LMK if I can help in any way!

Your truck looks good...can't wait to see it when it's done.

Sweet truck iric, if you picked up some step/nerfbars you will barely see the frame. I am getting my PA 3" body installed in the next few weeks, any idea how to get the tail pipe relocated. Hey you going to upgrade to 37's now?

Everything under the hood looks the same except for the brackets on the ground strap & the solenoid valve assem. Nerfs will be coming next week. To relocate the tail pipe, I will be cutting right above the axle. 3" above the lower bend behind the axle & I'm staying with the 35'sdue to the fact that I have the 4.6L. I dont need anymore weight than what I've put on it. Plus, I think it looks cool the way it is. 6" suspension lift, 3" body lift....Not bad. 9" lift for less than $1600.00. Wadda ya think?

Thanks guys......Iric

Your truck doesn't need 37's, it has more of a Baja look with the 35's and the 9"'s of lift. Bada#$
